Addressing Perceptions
The cluster area does not border the South of Ireland and is somewhat removed by geography, therefore whilst cross-border links exist, they are not as strong or developed as in other areas.
The Partnership recognises that this will be a challenge and that the gap which exists is not solely one of geography, but also perception. There is a need to tackle the ’them and us’ mentality between North and South and between communities.
A number of Small Grants have also been available under this programme, with funding of up to £30,000 available per grant. Please note that calls for Small Grant applications are now closed.
See below for some of the successful applicants and how they are utilising their funding.
