Corporate Surveys
Customer’s views matter and this is why the Council is and have been actively consulting with customers to find out how they rate the Council’s services and what improvements can be made.
Over the last few years the Council has become more focused on the needs of it's customers through the development of closer contact with users of Council services and facilities.
Over the last eight years the Council has been assessing general customer satisfaction with the Council, through an annual survey with some 3,200 residents.
The following graph shows the overall satisfaction levels with the Council, as rated by local residents, over the last five years. In 2007, 81% of residents are very and fairly satisfied (82%, 2006), however there is room for improvement to ensure more residents are very satisfied with the services and facilities offered by the Council.
The Council are conducting numerous surveys on an ongoing basis and the results from these surveys will then be published through local papers, on the website and in the Source magazine.
If you are approached to complete a customer satisfaction survey during the following year in relation to Council services your views and opinions will be much appreciated.
For further information on any of the above results please contact the Customer Relations Officer, Lisa Hall on 028 9034 0031 or lhall@newtownabbey.gov.uk
