Here are some of the actions we have taken in response to your feedback from surveys, complaints and comments:
You told us: Rathfern Rangers requested a spectator’s rail and dugouts at the Football pitch at the Diamond Rathcoole to fulfill their entry requirements into the Intermediate League.
We have: met that request within a few months of asking.
You told us: the 50+ Club at Sixmile Leisure Centre asked for a new bowling mat and indoor jacks.
We have: purchased a new bowling mat and jacks within 1 week of request.
You told us: you would like some additional TV channels to watch in the gym instead of the 4 terrestrial channels, as during the afternoon there are only kid’s programmes on.
We have: installed Sky television that provides 40+ channels including MTV, VH1 and all the Sky Sports – Football, Ashes etc.
You told us: you would like the variety and quality of background training music in the gym improved.
We have: replaced the old CD system with a 50 album jukebox so that members can select music free of charge.
You told us: you would like better rooms for classes at Ballyearl Ballyearl Leisure Centre.
We have: provided a dance/aerobics studio for classes at Ballyearl Ballyearl Leisure Centre.
You told us: you wanted value for money at leisure centres.
We have: introduced direct debit payments for fitness suite users.
You told us: you would like more up-to-date fitness equipment at Ballyearl Leisure Centre.
We have: replaced the fitness suite equipment at Ballyearl Leisure Centre.
You told us it was hard to find the caravan park at Jordanstown
We have: erected a sign for the caravan park
You told us: you would like information on building control regulations
We have:e organized seminars for architects/ agents and builders.
You told us: you would like us to make it clear who is responsible for parks in the borough.
We have: erected signs at all of the Council parks in the borough.
You told us: you would like to know the outcome of environmental health queries
We have: ensured that letters go to all complainants at the end of an investigation
You told us: you would like to know the opening hours of the cemeteries
We have: installed a sign detailing opening hours at our main cemeteries
