Dog Warden Service
Changes to Dog Licensing from 3 October 2011
New legislation across Northern Ireland will affect all current and potential dog owners.
Council Steps Up Patrols
The Council’s Dog Wardens are now patroling car parks, parks and other public areas at evenings and weekends to identify dog owners who do not clean up after their dogs. When caught, owners can expect £50 fixed fine and may face prosecution through the courts.
