Our Commitment

Newtownabbey Borough Council recognises the impact on global climate from carbon dioxide emissions arising from our energy related activities. The Council recognises the need to reduce its carbon dioxide emission levels in line with Northern Ireland energy and climate change targets. The Council aims to promote the importance of good energy management for the economic and environmental well-being of its residents, employees and business community.

Roofspace Insultaion Fee Waived

Spread the Warmth Campaign

For many older people winter means loneliness, poverty and ill-health. Age NI have launched a Spread the Warmth campaign which aims to make winter better for people in later life. The Fuel Poverty Coalition

Newtownabbey Borough Council is a member of the Northern Ireland Fuel Poverty Coalition along with over 100 other organisations across Northern Ireland.
