An education discount for school bookings (excludes school swims) will apply to bookings that comprise of children less than 18 years of age. This rate is applicable all year round and is not restricted to school term or school hours only as that would exclude extra-curricular activities.
A community discount of 25% for constituted community groups and charities within the Newtownabbey Borough Council catchment area (groups should be able to provide the Council with a copy of their constitution) on extended lets and one-offs.
Individuals may apply for concessionary rates through the Zest discount card based on the following concessionary categories (proof of entitlement must be provided on application). Examples of proof of entitlement will be provided to all reception staff:

Ability to Pay - on production of a letter of eligibility from the appropriate benefits office illustrating the person is in receipt of benefits and reviewed every 6 months;
Older persons: any persons over 60 years of age;
Student: Any person in full time education holding a full time student card;
Person with a disability (on provision of a doctor's letter confirming the disability);
Any carer accompanying a person with a disability will be admitted free of charge (on provision of a doctor's letter confirming the need for a carer).
