The key role of the Procurement Service within the Council is to:

 

1. Facilitate the tender process and implement purchase order processing in line with public procurement and other relevant pieces of legislation and the Council’s Procurement Procedures.

 

2. Identify, develop and implement Corporate Procurement Systems and procedures in accordance with Best Procurement Practice.

 

3. Provide professional procurement guidance and support.
